I have spent the last 17 years helping customers build and manage integrated eCommerce web stores for Sage 300. Throughout that time I have seen many successful implementations, but when there were failures, it always came down to the Project Scoping exercise. Was enough time taken before the purchase decision to properly understand your businesses pain points, workflow, and unique business requirements? PEACS was created for the sole purpose of ensuring that the Project Scoping process uncovers your pain points, documents your workflow, defines your unique business requirements and helps you find the right eCommerce solution.

From the beginning |
Where we are now |
I got into computers in 1985 while working for a company in Northern B.C. One day the boss walked in, dropped a computer on my desk and said "We're computerized." It soon turned out that...we weren't. Two sets of hardware and three accounting packages over the next twelve months and we were sort of computerized. So I understand what it is like when the upfront scoping exercise is minimized or skipped altogether. Since then I have been mostly in system sales and product management.

Today, with over 1,000 systems designed and installed we are ready for a new/different challenge. Having designed and sold municipal tax and utility billing systems as well as integrated eCommerce systems I am now ready to share what I have learned about properly scoping projects. PEACS will only be working in the Sage channel for the immediate future as that is where I have the most ERP knowledge. In my opinion it is very difficult to recommend integrate solutions if you do not intimately know the ERP you are integrating to.

Family and music are two of the main drivers that keep me going. As our daughter is want to point out "We are more of a clan than a family" And between the group there are two drummers, two guitar players, four singers and a piano player. If the family is together; there is music happening somewhere!
